Farmclave Global Processing Limited is developing an agro city on a 5,000 hectares plot of land in Okpogho Mbanito in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The Agro city, when in its full capacity, will house arable farming, animal rearing, afro processing, produce marketing, power generation and lifestyle activities. The city would be self sufficient, grow its own food, produce its own electricity and process the various agricultural value chains produced on the 5,000 hectares farm land.

The value chains are oil palm, cassava, maize, vegetables and tree crops. The animals include pigs, poultry (broilers, cockerels and layers), fish farm (catfish), and ruminants such as cattle, goats and sheep.

Real Estate

Farmclave Global Processing Limited is in partnership with Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC) as off takers for a 1,000 units housing development project that targets the working class and low income families within the Enugu East Senatorial Zone in Enugu State.

The mixed housing project will see bungalows, cottages ( 4 bedroom duplex houses) and semi-detached terrace houses. It is planned that the buyers can either make outright purchases of the houses, pay via a two years installment arrangement or to purchase them through mortgage banks over stipulated years.

When completed the houses, which will be located at Owo town, Ndiagu Owo and Ako Nike communities all situated in Enugu Eat Senatorial Zone, will help to contribute a quota towards solving the housing crisis within the Enugu metropolis. At the phase 2 of the project, 1,000 housing units will also be developed in Enugu west Senatorial Zone. This will be accompanied by the setting up of a vocational training college in Enugu West Senatorial zone. The last phase of the housing project is yet another 1,000 units housing projecting in Enugu North Senatorial Zone with also a vocational training college set up for the political zone.

Renewable Energy Projects

Farmclave Global Processing Limited is involved heavily in the field of renewable energy. Our main focus is on solar energy. Solar resources are at abundance in some countries of the world.

We have different solar photovoltaic project across Enugu State in Nigeria. All of them are in various stages of completion.

There is the 5mw solar photovoltaic plant in Udi, which is planned as an off grid facility feeding some Eligible Customers within an industrial cluster in Enugu State. When completed this is going to provide a 24/7 electricity to people in their industrial units.

We are also developing a 1,000mw solar photovoltaic farm in Okpogho Mbanito in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State. The plant, which is in an advanced stage of development, will feed the Farmclave Agro City while the rest will be fed into the Main Power Electricity Distribution Company’s Network. A sister company in China is proposing to set up an 80mw solar photovoltaic plant in Agbogazi, Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. This solar farm, when completed, will feed in 80mw of electricity supply into the Main power Electricity Distribution Company’s Network from a transmission station at Agbogazi.
